Absolutely amazing. This live sand is literally crawling with life. I checked on it after lights off and there were all kinds of tiny snails, worms, pods, and even some hidden brittlestars. Whatever you receive, it's more than enough to seed a small tank with microfauna. The smell had that fresh nutritious scent to it - lots of minerals and beneficial bacteria in this sand. And, my understanding is that it's gathered in a brackish environment with fluctuating salinity, so this stuff works just as well for brackish tanks too. This might actually be the best live sand available online, especially at a great price like this. Looks beautiful under reef lights, extremely fine, easy for fauna to dig into.

I’d recommend this stuff to anyone cycling a new tank or just trying to add diversity to an established one.
