It takes quite a few of them to put a dent in rapidly growing algae outbreaks. They make excellent nano inhabitants.  At times, our supplier has giant ones available, which are nice-looking and may have a larger appetite.  Like Nassarius vibex, these guys will both burrow and climb on your glass and rock.  At times, those burrowed will come up to consume detritous; turning substrate.
