These are excellent starter fish. They get along with most all other tropical fish. They are active. They are fun to watch. Our Glolites are full of life and in great health and condition. They are between .5″-1″ long. They will do well in larger aquariums with many different types of tropical fish, or in a 10 gal. tank with a few other tropicals. They have been held and watched carefully for good health. They will eat prepared foods.

Pimelodus pictus, like other members of the Pimelodidae, are known for having extremely long barbels. These can extend all the way to the caudal fin. The fish are silver-colored with black spots and stripes. They have sharp spines on their dorsal and pectoral fins, which makes shipping a difficult task, since the spines can pierce plastic bags and get caught in nets. There is relatively little sexual dimorphism, with females being slightly larger than males. Like many catfish, P. pictus has a downturned mouth and a forked tail. These fish are active swimmers and, like many catfish, nocturnal bottom feeders. In captivity, these fish prefer soft water and are omnivorous; pictus cats eat bloodworms, beef heart, insects, vegetables, and prepared fish foods. They will also eat very small fish such as neon tetras, depending on the size of the catfish. Despite this, they are generally non-aggressive and will not harm fish too large for them to eat. A larger tank is required as these fish are agile and fast swimmers. They are also non-territorial and can be kept with other P. pictus. Besides the mildly venomous sting imparted by the dorsal spine, they are generally harmless to humans.

The Rainbow Shark is a species of freshwater fish in the carp family, Cyprinidae. It is endemic to Thailand, common in aquaria, where it is prized for its deep black body and vivid red or orange fins and tail. The rainbow black sharks seen in the aquarium trade today are all captive bred. It is not closely related to sharks.

These Tetras feed primarily from the middle of the water column, as food falls through the water. They will go to the surface to get their food as well.

The Electric Blue Acara is a truly STUNNING Freshwater fish. The acara is a cichlid native to South America. The Blue Acara is a medium sized Cichlid and will reach lengths of about 5". They are a relatively peaceful fish and will do well in a community aquarium. They will breed quite easily and when paired up and breeding they will become extremely territorial and aggressive to guard their nest and young. For this reason, a large aquarium is recommended.

This catfish is named for the way it looks as it swims through the water. When this reclusive little guy smells food in the water, it comes out of it's hiding place and buzzes all over the aquarium in search of the food. The Bumblebee catfish is not an aggressive fish, but it does have a very large appetite. fortunately it will stay a small size. This makes it convenient to house this fish with any community fish.

These Female Bettas make wonderful additions to your community aquarium. You can place several of them together in the same aquarium. While their fins may not be as long as the male Bettas, they still have all of the great eye popping colors.
